AMA Race Series Round 4 Moves to Pennsylvania
Mt. Morris, PA - June 15, 2008

High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, PA hosted round four of the AMA outdoor nationals over the weekend with a great track and nice weather. Division 7/Star Racing/NCY/Yamaha riders, Broc Tickle #35, Matt Lemoine #52, Jake Moss #82, and Wil Hahn #99, were looking to gain a good bit of confidence entering in after the previous race. In Sunday mornings timed qualifying, Texan Lemoine took the nod of being the top qualifier on the team when he set the 8th fastest lap time for gate pick in moto one.

Moto one got under way with Moss setting himself up nicely in 7th, Tickle 13th, Lemoine 25th, and Hahn 38th, after getting knocked back because of crashes. As the race progressed, Moss, who is getting better with each moto, fought hard and stayed inside the top 10. Just behind was Tickle,
moving to 12th. Mounting serious charges were Lemoine, 18th, and Hahn, 23rd. Moto one entered its closing stages with Moss securely in tenth through the finish. Out of character, Tickle would finish not far from where he began, 13th, Lemoine rose to 14th, and Hahn finished 21st.

The all important second moto set out, on the now treacherous track, the Division 7 boys after lap one sat like this: Moss 13th, Lemoine 15th, Tickle 13th, and Hahn 20th. Still wanting to be the man, Moss climbed up and easily moved towards the top ten, lap six, 9th. Though Hahn was again
having problems early on, this kid never quits and continued moving back in the right direction soon enough. Tickle dug deep finding extra gas in his
tank, which enabled him to steadily rise up to 10th. Lemoine, frustrated and all, kept his cool moving up before brake troubles took him out the race altogether. On the very last lap, things were shaping up good for Tickle, but hopes were dashed when he crashed hard, failing to actually finish. So in the end, Moss got 9th, narrowly missing eighth, Hahn 14th, Tickle 19th, and Lemoine 34th.

Results Moto 1 Moto 2 = Overall Finish
Broc Tickle 10th 8th = 7th
Wil Hahn 16th 6th = 10th
Matt Lemoine 18th 10th = 14th
Jake Moss 13th 15th = 15th
